Team members were Chris Burgess, Caroline Baer, Li Pengfei, Tyler Smith, and Roselyn Luhur.
Second place was awarded to Team Fiat Chrysler Automotive, who improved a critical machining process reducing cycle time and downtime in their nine-speed transmission line. Team members are Yujia Guo, Dillon Pike, Kyle Plummer, Raymond Susilo, and Lauren Wheeler.
Third place was awarded to Team Intel, who developed a tracking method for perishable goods focusing on a dashboard reporting system for safe strawberry transportation-to-market. Team members were Ben Alderman, Anna Bukur, Uvika Chaturvedi, Madalyn Krynski, and Askar Zhapbassov.
In addition, a Peer Choice Award was won by Team Eaton Returnable Packaging Reduction, who proposed a way to reduce costs to save over $50,000 annually. Team members are Meredith Shannon, Philip Cheesman, Ruth Liddell, Shiru Li, and Helen Vu.
