The Purdue Chapter of the Institute of Industrial & Systems Engineers (IISE) held its third annual Spring Career Fair - and it was bigger than ever.

Twenty-six companies and 350 students attended the Jan. 28 event in the Purdue Memorial Union South Ballroom. The event has grown so much in the past two years that it outgrew its former location in Purdue IE's Grissom Hall Student Excellence Center. Graduate and undergraduate students talked with representatives from Axium Plastics, Bastian Solutions, Belden, Bricz, ConAgra Brands, enVista LLC, eQ Technologic, Halliburton, Hertz Corporation, Ingersoll Rand-Trane, Innovative IDM, Kohl's, Kohler Company, Land O'Lakes, Nanshan America Advanced Aluminum Technologies, National Air & Space Intelligence Center (NASIC), NAVAIR, Newell Brands, OM Partners, PepsiCo, Silfex, Textron, Therma Tru Corporation, United States Cold Storage, UPS, and Vertiv.

"The IE Career Fair is an invaluable resource to Purdue IE students, and allows them to get face-to-face time with companies they wouldn't otherwise receive," said Patrick Stuff, IISE President. "We at IISE pride ourselves in the fact that we can help students make that first step into a successful career. There are so many incredibly smart, skilled, and capable students at Purdue, and this is their chance to showcase that to the world."

The Purdue Chapter of the Institute of Industrial & Systems Engineers (IISE) organized the fair, assisted by Industry Relations Director Dave Kotterman.

Kotterman was enthusiastic about the students' success on the career fair. "Every year the IE career fair grows larger and larger," he said. "This year is no exception. The IE student organizers should be proud of the service you are providing for your fellow IEs and for the companies involved!"
