Yih is the Director of LASER PULSE (Long-term Assistance and SErvices for Research, Partners for University-Led Solutions Engine) Consortium, leading the effort of cross-sector partnership and translational research for global development through 49 research projects in 21 countries.  Her humanitarian supply chain management system, E+TRA System (Electronic TRAnsparent TRAcking System), has helped ensure delivery of life-saving commodities in multiple countries. For example, approximately 91,000 people in Ukraine and over one million people in South Sudan received humanitarian aids in 2022-2023 thanks to this system.
